Here you will find a plethora of drinking establishments keeping your thirst quenched with drinks from all over the world. Whether you wish to sip cocktails by the beach or beer in one of the western style pubs all your needs are catered for.
Chaweng beach is by far the busiest area and renowned for it’s wild nightlife. All along the main beach road you will see streets running off it with a cluster of bars of different appeals. DJ’s from all over the world are now turning up behind the decks of Samui’s bars and clubs to keep revelers on the dance floor until the early hours. The green mango strip is by far the liveliest of areas around Chaweng. With the Green Mango Club and Reggae bar drawing the majority of the crowds. In Northern Chaweng and a little way from the centre you will find literally the coolest bar in town - Ice bar! The main fixtures and fittings here are sculptures, tables and chairs all made from ice. Be sure to wrap up warm in there as some rooms are as cold as -7 degrees.
Nearby Lamai has the variety of bars like Chaweng but just less of them. Every Saturday be sure to get ringside for Lamai’s main event of Lady Thai Boxing. In the middle of a cluster of Beer bars in central Lamai is a boxing ring that plays host to an enjoyable evening of amateur lady thai boxing once a week. No holiday town is complete without its very own Irish Bar and Shamrock bar located on the main strip keeps guests entertained 24/7. Live bands and sport are the main offerings along with beers from around the world.
